Managing Director

For 25 years at Agency689, I ran the shop.

I wrote the pitch for every account. Led the pitch for every account. Won the business, set the strategy, built the creative briefs, ran the schedules, hired the teams, and managed the accounts from first conversation to final presentation. Proposals, scopes, client relationships, vendor direction, casting, and the calendar that kept sixty-plus brands shipping on time.

That meant working with owners, boards of directors, titans of industry, department heads, entrepreneurs, and startup founders. Selling the ideas. Keeping the promises. Making sure every brand had a clear story, a strong position, and a reason to exist.

I also directed the creative. With an amazing partner who led our design work, I shaped the brand voice, wrote the copy decks, and guided the concepts. In most cases I did not push the pixels. I directed the thinking behind them. That also meant casting talent, directing photo shoots, reviewing countless design iterations, and occasionally picking up a camera myself. I even appear in one of the ads. There was a helmet involved, which tells you everything you need to know about my modeling career.

Running the business and directing the work were never two jobs to me. They were one job done right.

Below is the proof. Sixty-plus brands my teams and I pitched, won, and shipped. And some gummy bears.
